HAWAIIAN STATE HOSPITAL

This new behavioral health hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii is replacing a recently demolished facility and occupies about five acres on the upper campus.

Elements include 96 beds for patients and a treatment mall for their use of services such as occupational, recreational, and rehabilitation therapy.

The concept of the Interior Design is based on the Biophilia and Hawaiian native culture.

These items are represented by continuous finishes, specific color palettes and different patterns in order to interconnect the interior spaces with a creative way-finding.
